Seth Gates is a musician and educator in the Chicagoland area with over 15 years of playing experience. He enjoys a wide range of musical styles such as funk, rock, and is an active songwriter.
Seth grew up inspired by artists such as The Beatles, Earth, Wind & Fire, David Bowie and brings that love of music into his teaching. He has played in several local bands including Monroe, Green Ttea & The Tempos, Sarah Krohn, and Beatrice Andrews and has also worked as a studio musician at Butcher Boy, Rax Tracks, and Hefty Studios.
Seth is known for being patient, encouraging and adaptable, helping students build strong fundamentals while exploring the music they love.
