Trumpet

Ella Grace is an up-and-coming trumpeter, composer, and educator. Ella studied several instruments before falling in love with trumpet. In high school, she participated in regional and state-wide honors ensembles in Minnesota, formed her own jazz combo, and began gigging professionally, performing at restaurants, jazz clubs, and private events. When the pandemic hit, Ella began exploring audio production, recording, and composition, studying Logic Pro and Ableton Live through Berklee College of Music. As a senior in high school, Ella studied at the University of Minnesota with Marissa Benedict and Dean Sorenson, where she performed in the top jazz ensembles as well as classically. Ella recently received a degree in Jazz Studies from DePaul University, where she studied with Chad McCullough and Dana Hall. Ella tailors her lessons to meet the individual needs of each student and always tries to keep lessons engaging and, most importantly, fun!
