Bass (Upright and Electric), Guitar

Native Chicagoan, Leo Buczkowski, is a musician, composer, and educator. Leo is currently a student studying jazz performance at Depaul University. At age 13 he started playing guitar in rock bands before incorporating bass guitar and eventually upright bass. He has a love for teaching and encourages his students to learn what they enjoy and make it fun. Weather you’re wanting to learn classical, pop, folk, jazz, or general improvisation, Leo has a large variety or styles in his pallet. Composing is also something he is passionate about and eager to teach. He has performed at venues such as Andy’s Jazz Club, The Jazz Showcase, City Winery, Constellation, Elastic Arts, and Fulton st Collective. Leo looks forward to sharing his passion and connecting with his students.
