Michael Hudson-Casanova is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and music educator currently residing in Chicago. He is originally from Sterling Heights, MI and he began his music career playing saxophone in the Detroit Civic Jazz Band under the direction of that city’s most in-demand working jazz musicians. He holds degrees in music education and jazz studies from Western Michigan University and Temple University.
Michael has been teaching privately and in classroom settings for over 10 years. He has created many of his own lesson materials for beginners and advanced players alike. Michael loves helping his students learn the music they are most invested in, and has experience in jazz, classical, pop/rock, and everything in between.
