Guitar, Piano

Park Dendy is an instrumentalist, composer, and teacher currently studying jazz guitar at DePaul
University with Bob Palmieri and Scott Hesse. Park’s love for music started in elementary
school, singing and playing such classics as The Eagles and Pink Floyd. He played rock shows in
early high school, and was eventually introduced to jazz through his school band. From there, Park
started a jazz trio and played gigs at restaurants and coffee shops around his hometown of
Cincinnati. Park earned the President’s Scholarship at DePaul University School Of Music and now in his second year at DePaul, he has an approach to teaching that focuses on showing students what music can really be: eye-opening, communal, and fun!
